Bohemian Wedding Gowns

I've always considering myself a bit of a Bohemian and I'd like to incorporate that idea and theme into my wedding, including my dress if possible. You can choose a dress made of sustainable fabrics, buy a handmade dress, or choose purchase a recycled gown.

Olivia Luca
Olivia Luca is my favorite socially conscious designer for two reasons. The first is that the beautiful gowns she offers are made from from silk blends, organic cotton, and other sustainable fabrics including hemp. The second reason is because she offers you the ability to create them yourself in her online design studio which is simply amazing.

The prices aren't as high as I thought they would be either. I designed a beautiful silk/hemp blend dress for only $750, and it also offers you the ability to save and name your creations which is great for sharing.

Other great shops for environmentally and socially conscious dresses include; Conscious Clothing: a designer offering relaxed summer or beach style hemp dresses in about 10 styles starting at $500, Tara Lynn Bridal: a Etsy designer offering hemp dresses, often embellished with leaves or flowers starting around $1,200, and Rawganique: a clothing store offering a small collection of both simple natural hemp bridal and bridesmaid dresses with a low cost of around $300.

Deborah Lindquist
If you're looking for something a little more exquisite I recommend visiting Natural Bridals or the shop of designer Deborah Lindquist. They both offering a large collection of modern and couture dresses, and you'd be surprised to know that some start as low as $700.

Another option is to consider a recycled wedding gown. You'll find cheaper dresses and helping to preserve natural resources. Recycled Bride offers gently used dresses & donates 15% of their advertising revenue to Global Green USA.

Make sure to also visit Once Wed and also offer a huge variety of gently used dresses, accessories, decorations, jewelry, and more.
